I got the idea today to google "Oak Cliff Coop Snoop" and see if anyone wrote about their experiences at the tour. Don't know why I didn't think of this before! Here's a few links I found. Enjoy!

The Final Tally!
Drum roll, please.....
The total raised (after expenses) from the 2011 Oak Cliff Coop Snoop is $1370.00! (Plus an additional $115 worth of merchandise from Southland on Maple that we are going to use to help build and furnish the two coops). We'll even have enough to bank for the expenses of running a tour for 2012! Thanks so much to all involved! We couldn't have hoped for a better turnout for our first tour! We will continue to update our Facebook page and website as the coops are built, etc. Stay tuned!

A Smashing Success!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thanks to those who opened up their backyards, thanks to the sponsors, thanks to all who put the word out about the tour, and thanks to all who attended! We had an amazing turnout for our first Oak Cliff Coop Snoop! Raffle winners will be posted tomorrow (though almost all have already been contacted, at least via phone message). Total monies raised to build coops will be posted tomorrow as well. I can tell you that we definitely raised enough to build a coop for both Lida Hooe AND Rosemont! Thanks again!

Bike the Tour!
Want to bike the tour? Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is hosting a Coop Snoop tour ride as part of Cyclesomatic 2011! Their site will be updated as more info becomes available. Thanks BFOC! For further information, click HERE.
If you're not really a "group" person - feel free to bike the tour on your own! All coops are in a 2 mile area - so we're trying to encourage biking - or even walking! Get out there and enjoy that beautiful fall weather we have our fingers crossed for!
